A Little Bit About BERNABE MINISTRIES

Bernabe Latin America Ministries is a 501c3 Christian missionary organization who’s purpose is to encourage, serve and minister alongside of churches and ministries in Latin Countries. The directors of the ministry are Barri & Annemarie Strait of McAllen, Texas.

Bernabe is the spanish name for Barnabas, and means "son of encouragement". Their heart is to bring encouragement to those who are currently involved in ministry; through teaching, preaching, evangelism or whatever they can do to assist and bless.

Barri & Annemarie are currently ministering in Mexico; in San Luis Potosi, Hidalgo and Tamaulipas - three Mexican states that are south of the Texas border (which would be North East Mexico). Through doors that God has opened over the past years, they have been teaching in conferences, Bible institutes and church services, and have been involved in evangelistic campaigns, children’s ministry, worship conferences and seminars, and pastoral care. They are often joined by pastors and church groups from the USA to minister in Mexico.

Bernabe Ministries has connected with a number of ministries such as Youth With A Mission, Calvary Commission, Last Days Ministries and Teen Mania. We have also worked with a number of churches with a variety of backgrounds.

When not traveling in Mexico, the Straits are involved on the border in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico; pastoring a local church Rios de Agua Viva and another community church in Articulo 27, as well as ministering in the farming communities surrounding Reynosa through monthly special events.
